High Risk and Genetic Counseling

If you’re concerned about developing cancer, the Baptist Health High Risk Breast & Hereditary Cancer Clinic offers you every resource you need to assess and reduce your risk. These services ensure you have access to the information and guidance necessary for proactive health management. If you have any of the following attributes below, you may be at an increased risk for breast or hereditary cancer, and are encouraged to schedule an appointment.

  • A personal history of breast, colon, endometrial, kidney, or stomach cancer and are age 60 or younger.
  • A personal or family history of ovarian, pancreatic, male breast cancer, or rare endocrine tumors at any age.
  • Three or more diagnoses of the same cancer on the same side of your family.
  • Two or more cases of melanoma on the same side of your family.
