A message regarding potential network disruption for patients with Aetna insurance.
LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Baptist Health is proud to announce that Ada Sochanska, PA-C, has been named the 2026 PA of the Year by the Arkansas Academy of Physician Assistants (ARAPA). This prestigious recognition was announced recently during ARAPA’s 50th anniversary celebration, honoring a physician assistant who exemplifies excellence in clinical practice, leadership and service.
Since beginning her career in Infectious Diseases in 2018, Sochanska has distinguished herself through her clinical expertise and compassionate care. Her early career was defined by her work on the front lines of the global COVID-19 pandemic, an experience that deepened her commitment to addressing health care inequities across Arkansas.
In addition to her clinical work at Baptist Health, Sochanska has served as president of ARAPA, leading the organization with a focus on growth and professional opportunity. Her extensive service includes roles on ARAPA’s CME, Legislative, and Communications & Outreach Committees. This year, she also represents Arkansas as a delegate to the American Academy of Physician Associates (AAPA) House of Delegates.
Beyond her professional leadership, Sochanska remains deeply rooted in community service, frequently volunteering her time at a free clinic in Pulaski County to ensure quality care is accessible to all.
