Magnolia Regional Medical Center Joins Baptist Health

MAGNOLIA, Ark. – During a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Monday, July 13, Baptist Health celebrated Magnolia Regional Medical Center becoming part of its health care system. The event, attended by local dignitaries and hospital leadership, marked the official commencement of Baptist Health's operations, which began on Sunday, July 12.

The 25-bed facility, now renamed Baptist Health Medical Center-Magnolia, becomes the 14th hospital in the Baptist Health system. It offers a wide range of services ranging from emergency care to specialized outpatient treatments.

Troy Wells, president and CEO of Baptist Health, shared his enthusiasm for the partnership, noting a dedicated focus on providing premier healthcare to the Magnolia area and its neighbors.

“Today marks an exciting new chapter for both Baptist Health and the Magnolia community,” Wells said. “We are honored to officially bring Magnolia Regional Medical Center into our healing ministry. Together, we will strengthen access to high-quality care and ensure this hospital remains a vital cornerstone of health and wellness for generations to come.”

William Giles, president of Baptist Health Medical Center-Magnolia, highlighted that the collaboration with Baptist Health is set to further elevate the quality of care available to the local community.

“Bringing Magnolia Regional Medical Center into the Baptist Health system is a milestone that directly benefits the patients in this region,” Giles said. “By combining Magnolia's deep-rooted dedication with our system’s expansive clinical resources, we are advancing the standard of healing and ensuring patients receive exceptional services right here at home." 

The transition concludes an acquisition process initiated in April, aimed at maintaining operational continuity for both caregivers and patients.
