STUTTGART, Ark. – Baptist Health Stuttgart Campus Clinic-A Service of Baptist Health Medical Center-Stuttgart is pleased to announce the addition of obstetrician-gynecologist Michelle Lusk, MD, to its medical team.
Dr. Lusk is an experienced OB/GYN who brings over two decades of clinical expertise to the Stuttgart community, specializing in comprehensive women’s health care.
“I believe it is important for women to be heard and understood, and for their decisions to be supported,” she said. “Knowledge and understanding can be powerful, and I feel it is essential for women to learn to become partners in creating their own best outcome.”
Dr. Lusk earned her medical degree from the Morehouse School of Medicine in Atlanta and completed her internship and residency at Emory University Affiliated Hospitals. Prior to her residency, she furthered her expertise through a Clinical Research Fellowship in Ultrasound at the Emory University Perinatal Center.
Prior to joining Baptist Health, Dr. Lusk managed a successful solo practice for over 11 years in rural South Carolina. Throughout her career, she has been recognized for her dedication to education, receiving a Chairman's Letter of Commendation for Excellence in Medical Student Teaching.
In addition to her conventional medical practice, Dr. Lusk has an interest in integrative wellness. She has completed training in functional medicine and is skilled in health coaching that utilizes diet and lifestyle to promote long-term health.
Dr. Lusk is a lifelong learner with a diverse range of personal interests, including graphic design, organic soap making and gardening. She is proficient in multiple languages, including English and Turkish.
Baptist Health Stuttgart Campus Clinic, at 1703 North Buerkle, Suite 3, offers the care and amenities women need, including keeping them close to home and loved ones. The clinic is conveniently located in the Outpatient Department inside Baptist Health Medical Center-Stuttgart. It is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
