Baptist Health Medical Center-Little Rock is the largest private, not-for-profit hospital in Arkansas. The nationally recognized, faith-based hospital opened as Baptist State Hospital in November 1920 and was legally incorporated on Feb. 16, 1921. Baptist Health Medical Center-Little Rock has 827 licensed beds and serves as the flagship hospital of Baptist Health. It is easily accessible off Interstates 30 and 630 in the growing area of west Little Rock.
Baptist Health Medical Center-Little Rock’s Emergency Department is a Level II Trauma center and is staffed with specialists who will care for you through unthinkable accidents, sudden illness and any other medical emergency you may experience.
Also located on the campus are Baptist Health Rehabilitation Institute, Baptist Health Extended Care Hospital, Hickingbotham Outpatient Center, Medical Towers I, Medical Towers II, Doctors Park, the Cornerstone Medical Building and Baptist Health Eye and Surgery Center, allowing patients and providers convenient access to additional health care services.
