Baptist Health Community Outreach Offers Free Monthly 'Stop the Bleed' Training in Little Rock

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Because death from bleeding can occur within 3-5 minutes, being prepared for medical emergencies is crucial. To help equip the public, Baptist Health Community Outreach is hosting a recurring monthly “Stop the Bleed” class.

The program operates under the important reminder that "Training Today Can Save A Life Tomorrow." This free training session teaches community members exactly what it takes to step in and “Stop the Bleed” before emergency responders arrive.

During each one-hour session, participants will:

• Recognize life-threatening bleeding.
• Practice life-saving skills.
• Earn a certificate.

The recurring classes are currently scheduled for Sept. 29, Oct. 29 and Nov. 16. Each session will run from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. All training sessions will be held in person at the Baptist Health Community Outreach office, located at 10117 Kanis Road, Little Rock, AR 72205.
