Baptist Health Community Outreach Announces Fall 2026 Cooking and Wellness Events

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Baptist Health Community Outreach is excited to announce a series of upcoming classes and meetups designed to promote healthy lifestyles, sustainable habits, and culinary skills. 

Registration is now open for the upcoming Cooking with Community Outreach classes and our Monthly Wellness Meetups, with locations in both Little Rock and Conway.

Cooking with Community Outreach

Tired of takeout? Discover the fun and flavor of home cooking through hands-on classes that will empower you in the kitchen. Participants will share simple, budget-friendly recipes while connecting with fellow food enthusiasts.

Classes are led by registered dietitian Samantha Stadter. You will learn cost-saving cooking tips and tricks to make delicious, healthy meals without breaking the bank.

  • Schedule: Classes take place on Thursdays from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
    • Oct. 1: The menu features Creamy Tuscan Garlic Chicken.
    • Nov. 5: The menu features Rosemary Garlic Pork Tenderloin.
    • Dec. 3: The menu features a Black Bean Enchilada Skillet.
  • Location: Classes are held at Baptist Health Community Outreach, 10117 Kanis Road, Little Rock, AR.

Monthly Wellness Meetups

Join our supportive group to focus on achieving holistic wellness and sustainable weight management. The meetups are led by a team of health professionals, including a nurse, a dietitian, and a community health educator. Each month, discussions will cover key aspects of a healthy lifestyle, including physical activity, mindful eating, and stress management.

Little Rock Wellness Meetup

  • Schedule: This meetup occurs on the first Tuesday of each month. Sessions run from 5:30 to 7:00 pm. Join us on Oct. 6, Nov. 3 and Dec. 1.
  • Location: Meetups take place at Baptist Health Community Outreach, 10117 Kanis Road, Little Rock.

Conway Wellness Meetup

  • Schedule: This meetup occurs on the second Wednesday of each month. Sessions run from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Join us on Oct. 14, Nov. 11 and Dec. 9.
  • Location: Meetups take place at Baptist Health Medical Center Conway, Conference Room 1, located at 1555 Exchange Ave, Conway.
