A1C & Beyond: Join Baptist Health in Conway for a Free Diabetes Health & Screening Night

CONWAY, Ark. – Baptist Health Community Outreach will host "A1C & Beyond: Back to the Basics of Diabetes Wellness" on Monday, Nov. 9, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. in Conference Room 1 at Baptist Health Medical Center-Conway, located at 1555 Exchange Ave.

Presented by Michelle Hayden, RN, CDCES, this free educational session is designed to equip participants with practical tools for diabetes management and overall wellness.

Attendees will also have access to free A1C screenings and diabetic risk assessments. An A1C test result shows the average blood sugar level over the past 2 to 3 months. Key topics and features include:

• Education on A1C and effective diabetes management
• Techniques for managing diabetes and avoiding complications
• Practical advice on nutrition and physical activity
• Identification and treatment of high and low blood sugar symptoms
• Refreshments and giveaways for attendees
