Baptist Health to Host Free "Stop the Bleed" Life-Saving Training Course in Conway

CONWAY, Ark. — Baptist Health Community Outreach is hosting a free "Stop the Bleed" training course this month to equip community members with the vital skills needed to respond to life-threatening bleeding emergencies.

The "Stop the Bleed" course will be Thursday, Aug. 27, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Baptist Health Medical Center-Conway, 1555 Exchange Ave. (Conference Rooms 1 & 2). 

Because death from bleeding can occur within mere minutes, individuals can make a life-saving difference by stepping in before emergency responders arrive. This course is designed to empower everyday citizens to take immediate action.

Participants in the interactive training session will learn how to recognize life-threatening bleeding and practice hands-on, life-saving skills. Upon completion of the course, attendees will earn a certificate. Additionally, registered participants will receive a complimentary "Stop the Bleed" kit, available while supplies last.
