Baptist Health Wound & Hyperbaric Center–Fort Smith Welcomes Back Jennifer Williams, APRN

FORT SMITH, Ark. – Baptist Health Wound & Hyperbaric Center–Fort Smith is pleased to welcome back Jennifer Williams, APRN, to its specialized wound care team. Williams is now accepting new patients and referrals, expanding access to advanced wound and hyperbaric care for patients across the River Valley.

Williams provides compassionate, patient-focused care rooted in trust, education and shared decision-making. She believes every patient deserves to feel heard, respected, and fully informed throughout their healing journey. Her approach emphasizes not only treating wounds, but supporting patients and families as they work toward improved quality of life.

“I care deeply about the community I serve and the impact quality healthcare can have on individuals and their families,” Williams said. “My goal is to help patients heal while feeling confident and empowered in their care plan.”

Baptist Health Wound & Hyperbaric Center–Fort Smith offers comprehensive, evidence-based treatment options for complex and non-healing wounds, including:

  • Advanced dressings and topical treatments
  • Debridement (removal of damaged or nonviable tissue)
  • Negative pressure wound therapy
  • Bioengineered skin substitutes
  • Hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBO)
  • Customized treatment protocols for complex or atypical wounds
  • Diabetic foot care
  • Venous leg ulcer treatment

Conditions treated include chronic wounds that have not healed within the expected timeframe, pressure injuries, neuropathic and diabetic foot ulcers, burns, skin tears, traumatic wounds and post-surgical or medical procedure wounds.

Williams earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Carson-Newman University in August 2022 and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Western Governors University in October 2016. Her clinical expertise strengthens Baptist Health’s commitment to delivering high-quality, specialized wound care close to home.

Outside of work, Williams enjoys spending time with her family—cheering on her children at school events, supporting local programs, and staying actively engaged in the Fort Smith community.
