One of the most important aspects of your hospital experience is the quality of care you receive from your attending physician. The BAPTIST HEALTH Women's and Children's Services medical staff has a level of experience and skill you can trust – and a compassionate approach you'll appreciate.

Our staffis well equipped to deal with infant emergencies and illnesses. All staff members have completed a Neonatal Resuscitation Program and neonatologists are on hand to provide care for critically ill newborns.

We have a large staff of experienced pediatricians to care for your newborn. They have offices throughout Central Arkansas that stay open late, making the care of your child as convenient and accessible as possible.

Under the leadership of Dr. Stephen Chatelain, Perinatologist, BAPTIST HEALTH Medical Center-Little Rock has developed and trained a Maternal Transport Team and a high risk obstetrical unit for patients needing specialized high risk obstetrical care.

They have credentials with numerous national certification programs such as Fetal Monitoring, Newborn Resuscitation, Lactation Consultation, Infant Massage, Childbirth Education and Neonatal High Risk Nursing.
