After Hours, We're In...
Where do you go when your child needs immediate medical attention and your doctor’s office or clinic is closed?

Taking care of minor health problems at the After Hourse Pediatric ClinicAfter Hours Pediatric Care at BAPTIST HEALTH Medical Center-Little Rock provides treatment by pediatricians in a setting designed with children in mind. Walk in hours are from 6 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., Monday through Saturday, and 1 p.m. to 6 p.m., Sundays and holidays.

This setting is staffed by pediatricians from Central Arkansas. All are on the staff of BAPTIST HEALTH, so you know your child is in good hands. After Hours Pediatric Care offers access to the comprehensive resources of a major medical center and provides an alternative to adult emergency rooms or urgent care centers.

Important Advantages...
After Hours Pediatric Care is staffed by pediatricians, nurses and support personnel who are specially trained and experienced in meeting the needs of children and their families. This means a special understanding and responsiveness to children’s concerns. Big emergency rooms can be frightening to a child and overwhelming to an already concerned parent.

With After Hours Pediatric Care, you can rest assured that your child’s needs are being met with professional caring and concern, and with immediate access to the resources of BAPTIST HEALTH Medical Center-Little Rock, which include a comprehensive pediatric unit. All RNs are PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certified.

How to Use After Hours Care...
First, call your pediatrician or family physician, if you have one. If not, simply come directly to After Hours Pediatric Care in the Day Surgery area of BAPTIST HEALTH Medical Center-Little Rock. Convenient, well lighted and secured parking is available.

Follow-up...
All patients are encouraged to return to their primary care physician for follow-up treatment. If you do not have a primary care physician, we will assist you in finding one. A copy of each patient’s record will be forwarded to the primary care physician within 24 hours of each visit.
